Hibiscus Iced Tea Sparkler
The sun is shining and that always has me craving some form of iced tea. I have always been a fan of brewing my own flavors of iced tea so this recipe is right up my alley. As the weather gets warmer, I know I’ll be making this in pitcher form as it won’t last long in our fridge! Grab your pitcher and follow along with this recipe:
4 cups boiling water
8 bags hibiscus tea
1/2 cup honey
ice
2 cups sparkling water
1/4 cup mint leaves
strawberries for garnish
In a large pitcher, combine tea bags, honey, and boiling water; let steep 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Remove tea bags.
Add mint.
Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.
Add ice to pitcher and stir in sparkling water. (sometimes if it’s just for myself, I like to just make pitcher of iced tea and hold off on adding the soda water. Therefore, when I want one, I just pour the iced tea into a glass and top with fresh soda so it stays bubbly.)
Garnish with strawberries.
Serve and Enjoy :)
